WIll insurance cover a nose job for a deviated septum even if it doesnt affect my breathing?
I went to a plastic surgeon for a nose job who told me I have a deviated septum. This is good for insurance purposes but I am now beginning to wonder if they still offer coverage even if my breathing is good. I know a deviated septum is usually the culprit when a person has breathing issues but I couldn't imagine breathing any better than I do now. I don't have allergies and always have clear sinuses. So my question is will my insurance (GHI) offer their coverage on the surgery to correct the deviated septum and reshape my nose, even if the deviation has no affect on my breathing? I am hoping they will!
