Job opportunities with Law degree.?

I'm a student at the University of Limerick, Ireland. I'm thinking of leaving my current course to go and start the Law course but I'm having a hard time convincing my parents that it has good career opportunities. Are there any careers besides becoming a solicitor/barrister? Anything would help. Thanks! :D
